SPC Day is a new yearly celebration on September 12 to honor philanthropy through the support of the SPC Titan Fund!
We are starting a new tradition for all of our SPC family – students, faculty, staff, community partners, and friends! Starting this year, SPC’s 95th anniversary, we will honor September 12 as SPC Day and commemorate the first day of classes held at St. Petersburg College in 1927. SPC started with an enrollment of 102 students taught by a faculty of 14 and we now serve over 42,000 students annually with 2,000+ faculty and staff! Over the last 95 years, SPC has grown to be YOUR community’s college.
Did you know...
- SPC graduates rank 1st for highest entry-level wages among state community colleges
- SPC’s annual impact on Pinellas County is $1.2B
- Over 30,000 jobs are supported by SPC in the region
Celebrating SPC Day will offer our college community an opportunity to reflect on the College’s great history, celebrate the achievements of our alumni, students, faculty/staff and renew our commitment to support the mission of SPC of changing lives through accessible, high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Our goal is to secure 300 donors in support of the SPC Titan Fund
SPC Day is a 24-hour day of giving on September 12, 2022, to help SPC raise essential private funds for student success.
This year, during our 95th anniversary, we celebrate the life-changing impact we have experienced through the generosity of our alumni, faculty/staff, students and friends in assisting with the immediate needs of the college.
Each year your donation to the SPC Titan Fund supports many important financial initiatives at the SPC, such as attracting and maintaining top-notch faculty, creating new and innovative curricula and programs and offering scholarships to deserving students.
Your annual gift makes a real difference to all who learn and teach here−it ensures that these imperative initiatives remain possible. Please consider St. Petersburg College as one of your top charitable priorities this year.
Once you make your impactful gift, wear Titan blue and post a photo of yourself on social media with the hashtag #SPCDay.

We are very close to our goal of securing a $95,000 challenge gift from the SPC Foundation Board of Directors. We don't want to miss out on this opportunity. Please give a gift of support to the SPC Titan Fund!
