Men’s Soccer had another special season in 2025, and we take immense pride in hopefully making our amazing alumni proud.
We went 20-3-3, won the MIAC Regular Season Championship going 9-0-1 (our 3rd season in a row with a 25-0-5 record), lost in the MIAC Playoff Championship to MAC preventing our 4th in a row, and hosted the opening four rounds of the NCAA tournament — playing in front of a packed hill, which you all know there is nothing better! We went to the second Final Four in program history before falling 2-1 and ending the year with numerous impressive individual and team stats, including two All Americans, four All Region Players, one MIAC POTY, and seven All MIAC Players.
Our senior class graduates with a career record of 70-15-12, three MIAC Regular Season Championships, three MIAC Playoff Championships, and four NCAA Tournament Appearances (one Round of 32, one Sweet 16, one Final Four, and one National Championship). Some national rankings for team stats are:
- T-1st in Wins (20)
- 2nd in Goals Scored (71)
- 3rd in Total Assists (72)
- 2nd in Total Points (214)
- 5th in Goal Differential (48)
- 5th Hardest Strength Of Schedule in the country

Over the last five years, St. Olaf Mens Soccer has been on quite the run. We have tied for the most wins in the country in 2021, 2023, and 2025. We have ended years ranked #15 (2021), #14 (2022), #1 (2023), #15 (2024) and #3 (2025) according to United Soccer Coaches or NPI. We are one of 13 teams to go to five straight NCAA tournaments. We are one of three teams in the country to go to two of the last three Final Fours.
We could not do this without all of you who have come before us and continue to support us. Your support allows us to continue to give our student athletes a world class experience. Please continue to support St. Olaf Men's Soccer!
Men's Soccer Alumni Game: Saturday, May 2, at 11 a.m.
If you are planning on coming, please RSVP to oliver3@stolaf.edu and vance2@stolaf.edu so we can plan for numbers accordingly!
The women's program is also having their alumni game the same day after ours so you can connect with the St. Olaf soccer players from your graduating classes and come back to Northfield! We hope to see a lot of familiar faces from some recent classes, as well as alumni from all of our legendary past coaches' classes.
