St. Lawrence University and Saints Athletics are excited to share that we've broke ground on the turf renovation of North Country Field at Hall-Leet Stadium on May 12, 2025. This timing will allow the project to be completed for the field hockey team to begin its 2025 season in August, as well as men’s and women’s lacrosse fall ball.
We have accelerated the project timeline to the benefit of our student-athlete experience, understanding we must seek philanthropic support from alumni, parents and friends to fund the total cost of the project. The scope of the project includes a newly-designed, state-of-the-art turf and upgraded infrastructure.
Thank you to those who have given us early momentum towards our ambitious goal, including former Saints lacrosse player Willy Walker ’89, who matched $200,000 (dollar-for-dollar)! Thank you, Willy!
Next Up: Former Saints lacrosse player Jordan Gray '95, P'26 is in the game, offering a $100,000 match of his own through July 31!
Should you be interested in discussing your support with a University gift officer, or to use appreciated securities to make your gift, please email Casey Peterson ’03 at cpeterson@stlawu.edu.
Add your name to the growing list of Laurentians making this project a reality for our student-athletes today!
