Research as an undergraduate student can open up pathways to graduate school, mentorship, a chance to focus on what you are really interested in, and an opportunity to solve real-world challenges.
Dr. Allan Hook was an educator who was passionate about connecting students with research and helping them make the next step in their journey.
The Dr. Allan W. Hook Endowed Wild Basin Creative Research Fund provides research funding and stipends for undergraduate and graduate student projects at Wild Basin or other preserves in the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve system. Hook Fellows' projects can be research-based or creative endeavors and can be grounded in any discipline.
Give today to honor Dr. Hook's legacy of getting students hooked on research.
