Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry offers a diverse range of worship, retreat, and volunteer opportunities for our St. Ambrose students as they grow in our values of faith, learning, and justice.

Faith: We believe that a personal encounter with God is key to a student’s lifelong journey of faith. As such, Campus Ministry provides a variety of retreat opportunities, including our BEE-Connected Retreat for new students, trips to the annual SEEK conference for college students, and our twice-yearly Antioch retreat, which has helped generations of SAU students form a lasting relationship with Christ.

Learning: A true relationship with God is one of both heart and mind. At Campus Ministry, we provide many ways for students to grow in their knowledge of God, the Bible, and the Catholic Church. Whether it is through our Monday night catechism program, our non-denominational Bridge Bible Fellowship, or one of our increasingly popular small-group Bible studies, there is a program for every kind of student.

Justice: Taking to heart the teaching that faith without works is dead, we encourage all of our students to imitate Christ by advocating for justice. Through our Ambrosians for Peace & Justice group, students learn to serve those in need, fight injustice, and advocate for those without a voice. Additionally, we provide regular local service opportunities with Café on Vine and Project Renewal, as well as fall and spring service trips to locations in the United States and Latin America through Global Brigades.
