Sustainability at St. Ambrose

The sustainability committee, made up of a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students, pushes our campus forward through many initiatives, from community litter cleanup events that have collected over 500 pounds of garbage from the neighborhood, to roundtable discussions and leadership workshops with regional and international leaders, to community gardens providing hundreds of pounds of food to our campus cafeteria.

Students are leaders in these collective efforts, as organizations Green Life, Enactus, and Ambrosians for Peace and Justice help host events like our annual Earth Day and Sustainability Fest celebrations.

Through these and other opportunities, SAU Sustainability allows Ambrosians to “Bee” the change we want to see in the world.
