BEE-First provides tools and opportunities for first-generation students to have self-directed success personally, professionally, academically, and socially while feeling engaged and appreciated by the broader St. Ambrose University community leading toward persistence and personal growth.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of the Bee-First! First Generation Initiative. The impact of your donations has been significant, providing many opportunities for the students to broaden their horizons and explore new possibilities. These initiatives have allowed me to explore beyond my academic curriculum and gain exposure to new experiences. I have been able to participate in various events and activities, which have enabled me to develop new skills, expand their knowledge, and connect with others who share similar interests. Your donations have made it possible for students, such as myself, to receive mentorship, resources, and academic support, which are crucial to the success in higher education. Overall, your support has helped to create opportunities for the students to learn, grow, and succeed in ways they may not have been able to without your donations.
