Maroon vs. White Athletics Challenge
Springfield College varsity teams are joining in a friendly competition on Giving Day, where the prizes are extra dollars in each team account.
- Thanks to a generous $5,300 challenge gift from Buzzy '74 and Barb '75 Ernst, each team on either the Maroon or White side that gets to 500 combined donors first, will have $500 additional dollars added to their team accounts.
- Once all teams reach a combined total of 1,000 donors, an additional $14,000 will be released to Friends of Springfield College Athletics thanks to Dick '62 and Ruth Sproul, Dick Warner '67, and Margaret Haney Emond ‘70 in memory of Lionel A. Emond ‘64, G’70 for sponsoring this part of the challenge!
Gifts to Friends of Springfield College Athletics will count for
BOTH the Maroon Team and the White Team.
