As we approach our 60th year, we are excited to announce that our upcoming reunion will be a dynamic combination of online and in-person gatherings. We are actively seeking ideas, personal histories, and special details that highlight the remarkable journey of our iconic Class of 1966—the Diamond Daughters.

If you are not comfortable with online connections, consider reaching out to children, grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, or nephews who may be eager to tutor you or serve as your technical assistant during these sessions.

Sharing Our Stories

We will be reaching out to gather details about your careers, businesses, and the accomplishments of your children and grandchildren. Some of you have moved across the country to pursue new adventures, while others have returned to familiar places. Many of us have experienced life changes, including beginning new chapters with or without significant others, and the loss of loved ones. Sadly, a few of our classmates are no longer with us. Through these efforts, we hope to capture and honor the rich histories that make our class unique.

A Lasting Love for Spelman College

Amidst all the changes we have experienced, one thing has remained constant: the enduring love we share for our beloved alma mater. Spelman College continues to thrive, both educationally and socially, impacting the lives of over 2,000 young women each year. These students now walk in our footsteps, just as we once followed in the paths of those who came before us.

Reunion 2026: Our Commitment

For Reunion 2026, we reaffirm our dedication to the motto, “Diamond Daughters are Spelman’s best friends!” Any contributions made between July 1, 2025, and May 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM Eastern time will count toward our class giving. If you plan to mail your contributions, please ensure they are sent by May 1, 2026, to allow time for processing. We encourage everyone to begin contributing now. Additional giving information is available in the enclosed newsletter.
