Southern University at Shreveport, LA (SUSLA) Athletic Department provides intercollegiate sports which includes Women's Basketball and Men's Basketball. Teams compete in Division I basketball and are sanctioned by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) through region #23. The Department also offers highly competitive Band, Dance and Cheer programs. Through these sports, students are encouraged to compete at their full potential in an environment that promotes integrity, sportsmanship, and fair play.
