School of Education

The School of Education at Southern University and A&M College is committed to preparing the next generation of educators, leaders, and scholars. Through rigorous academic preparation, meaningful field experiences, and strong community partnerships, we equip teacher candidates and professional educators with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to positively impact diverse learners and communities.

Our programs integrate innovative teaching practices, technology, research, and hands-on clinical experiences to ensure graduates are well prepared to lead in today’s evolving educational landscape. In addition to preparing educators, the School of Education provides professional service, leadership, and collaborative support to school systems across the region and the state.
