Baton Rouge, La. - Dr. Orlando F. McMeans, Chancellor of the SU Ag Center and Interim President of the Southern University System, members of the Louisiana Board of Regents, and Dr. Matt Lee, Senior Vice Chancellor for Agriculture and Dean of the LSU College of Agriculture toured Muse 3 Farm in Greensburg, LA on June 12, 2026. The tour was part of a visit scheduled by the Louisiana Board of Regents.

Several staff members from the SU Ag Center, the Louisiana Board of Regents, and the LSU Ag Center also attended the tour.

During the visit, Muse 3 Farm representatives showcased the animal husbandry and horticultural aspects of the farm. They also discussed how the SU and the LSU Ag Centers have assisted them. For several years Muse 3 Farm has provided field trips for the SU Ag Center’s Summer Camps, served as a vendor at the SU Ag Center’s JagFresh Farmers Market and during SU Ag Center sponsored events and programs, and as a supporter of the Annual Livestock and Poultry Show.

The group also enjoyed a delicious lunch which included food grown on the farm.

The Southern University Ag Center looks forward to continuing to grow its partnership with Muse 3 Farm and provide assistance to ensure the farm’s sustainability for the future.
