The College of Engineering, Computing, Technology, and Mathematics at SIU Carbondale holds fast to a unique tradition of access and opportunity, inclusive excellence, and top-tier research, encouraging creativity within a climate of outstanding student success-focused teaching. The college, as part of a nationally ranked public research university, creates and shares knowledge aimed at shaping future leaders, improving communities and transforming lives. The college’s six schools offer a wide range of courses leading to bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. The college promotes opportunities for students to participate in a wide range of activities outside the class room including research, design competitions, service oriented projects and leadership development activities.
Funds raised for the Engineering Excellence Fund are used to support Engineering and Technology in the college. This includes but is not limited to much needed equipment and labs for faculty and students.
