The Carolyn Vanacore Women and Girl in Sports Fund to help enhance women athletics at Southern. The fund was created in honor of Mrs. Carolyn Vanacore, ’52, MS ’69, SY ’73. Carolyn is a former director of the exercise science department, and long-time advocate for women athletes and Title IX,. Her hard work and dedication helped establish Southern’s Women Athletic Program.
All gifts to The Carolyn Vanacore Women and Girls in Sports Fund will help transform our women student athletes both academically, athletically, and socially.
