More than 70% of Southern’s undergrad students receive some form of financial aid and scholarships provide students with the means to reduce college costs and focus on academic achievements. Through the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends of the University, the SCSU Foundation manages over 350 scholarships that are available to both undergraduate and graduate students!
The countdown has begun! From now until Midnight on April 5th, gifts made during SCSU's Day of Caring will directly impact Southern and its students!
📅 Save and share the date. Mark your calendar and ask your network to save the date for Day of Caring on April 4th! Use the Day of Caring Toolkit for fun tips and tricks to share the message!
💙 Make your gift early. Consider making your gift early to support students and the places on campus you love most. Don't worry, it still counts toward the day!
✍️ Sign up to become an advocate. Share your enthusiasm and inspire friends and family to step up and give to the areas they love most.
📣 Get ready for fun announcements. As the day gets closer, we will be revealing fun giveaways, raffle prizes, campus events, and amazing matches and challenges (did someone say Power Hours?!) to take advantage of on the day!
👚 Grab your Southern Swag. Show your Owl pride on the day by wearing Southern gear. Make sure to post a selfie on social with #SCSUDayofCaring and the fund of your choice for a chance to win bonus money for your favorite fund!
