The Doreen Cammarata-Gilhuly Field Hockey Annual Scholarship provides financial support to an incoming or returning field hockey student-athlete to help them pursue their academic and athletic dreams.
Doreen says, "I find it important to support women in the area of academics and athletics." In addition, athletics has had a significant impact on her personal growth. In creating this scholarship, her goal was to empower young women to stay committed to excelling academically and athletically, while also preparing for successful careers and fulfilling lives beyond sports. She hopes to inspire future generations to pursue their dreams with the same determination that has driven her throughout her journey.
