History

The History Student Experience Fund provides stipends for history students doing internships, and other real-world learning opportunities. This is a huge value for our students that will create successful historians who can establish change for the better in our communities. Internships can greatly increase a student's chance of employment and employers know that on-the-job experience will make SCSU graduates invaluable!

The History Department partners with non-profits in providing internship opportunities that help our students gain those skills. In return, non-profits work with amazing students who can provide new perspectives.

But they can't do it without support. Students and non-profits need your help to keep these partnerships vibrant. Money from this fund allows students to do an internship, who might not otherwise be able to do so.
