The past few weeks have been very challenging for the Southeastern Oklahoma State University community as we have faced the unprecedented effects of COVID-19. Daily activities and routines have been disrupted as we continue to make every reasonable effort to serve our students.
There are many in our community, our state, our country, and our world that could use some help during this time. There are students at Southeastern that also fit into that category. Through the Shelter for the Storm Fund, we will be able to assist students whose higher education journey has been affected by the current health crisis.
We have established the Shelter for the Storm Fund to help our Southeastern students in times of uncertainty. This fund will benefit students currently in need of help, but the fund will also become a permanent tool for the university to lend assistance. This fund will help in ways that most regularly allocated funding cannot.
