What is 1896 Day?

On March 3, 2025, in honor of SC State’s 129th Founders Day, Bulldogs everywhere are coming together for 1896 Day—giving campaign dedicated to shaping the future of our students.

For 1,896 minutes, alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of SC State will unite to raise $129,000 to support student scholarships, academic programs, and campus life through the Annual Fund.

The Annual Fund is critical to the success of SC State University, but it wouldn’t be possible without YOU! Annual giving supports and supplements tuition, bridging the gap and enhancing every aspect of the Bulldog experience.
