SC State Football continues to build on its proud legacy. In 2025, under second-year head coach Chennis Berry, the Bulldogs captured their 20th MEAC Championship, finishing undefeated in conference play and earning a return to the Celebration Bowl where they beat Prairie View A&M University in route to the 2025 Black National Championship. Coach Berry was named MEAC Coach of the Year and AFCA Region 2 Coach of the Year, reinforcing the program’s strength and direction.
