Help Send SC State Music Industry Students to NAMM 2027.

Through the 2026 SC State 1896 Challenge, the Friends of SC State Music Industry are raising funds to send four students and two adult chaperones from the Visual and Performing Arts Department to the 2027 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Convention in Anaheim, California.

The NAMM Convention will provide our students with invaluable opportunities to:

• Explore the latest trends, innovations, and technology shaping the music industry.
• Participate in workshops, exhibits, and panel discussions.
• Network with music professionals and leading companies.
• Discover career, internship, mentorship, and endorsement opportunities.
• Connect with major music vendors such as Yamaha, Selmer, Sony, Shure, and JBL.

The total cost of airfare, lodging, meals, transportation, and convention registration is approximately $13,564.
