Softball

The softball team is young, talented, and hungry for success. The team values of Community, Communication, and Competition have been ingrained in this group and will be carried forward with strong upper-class leadership and an eager first-year class. We are thinking about the future of the program and the investments that will help us continue our trajectory to being competitive at the top of NEWMAC and beyond. This is where donor support is critical.

Funding Priorities

• Spring Break Trip ($10,000+)
• On-field camera system ($5,000 for install and year 1 then $2,500 annually)

Why Donor Support Matters

• The on-field camera system supports player performance by allowing the team to quickly access in-game footage and focus their training, while also allowing family and friends from afar to watch the softball games with better angles. Year 1 is $5K for installation and service; subsequent years are a $2,500 annual expense.
• Winter lingers longer in New England, meaning the softball team travels to Florida to officially kick off their season during Spring Break. This trip is part of the regular season, and donor support makes it so the student-athletes do not pay anything out of pocket. We are also planning to make a trip to the west coast in the next few years, since five of our eight first-years are from California.
