About

Shorecrest Chargers Athletics educates students in "Winning the Right Way."

Our second Giving Day on Thursday, November 12, will celebrate Shorecrest Chargers Athletics. Winning is an immediate objective in all athletic contests, but it is not an end in itself. Winning the right way is a process of providing experiences that help our student-athletes develop intellectually, physically, and emotionally.

With your support over the past few years we have been able to:

  • Refurbish the Haskell field track
  • Upgrade the Orkin Family scoreboard
  • Invest in new backstop padding and mats for student safety
  • Recondition helmets and purchase new knee pads for our athletes
  • Win regional, district and state championships

Philanthropic gifts made during this giving day celebrates Shorecrest Athletics and our community’s commitment to covering the +12% of funds essential to providing a transformational education. Donor dollars are invested directly into opportunities which allow Shorecrest to 'Be More'.

Student-Athlete Spotlight: Lauren Epstein '21

Great athletic programs are a part foundation of a great school. When athletes, parents and visitors see people of all ages encouraging their team, they can participate in something larger than themselves. Please consider making a gift today. #ShorecrestTogether

Alumni Athlete Spotlight: Chris Canizares '19

For student-athletes, success in your sport is much more than a win, it is taking what you have learned on the field, court, track or in the pool and applying it in the classroom and beyond. For Charger Alumnus Chris Canizares ‘19 being a student-athlete taught him the importance of communication and teamwork.  Please join  our Giving Day and help the Shorecrest Fund achieve the goal of raising $100,000 for Shorecrest Athletics!  #ShorecrestTogether 👉

CONTRIBUTING CHARGERS: THE DUNN FAMILY

CONTRIBUTING CHARGERS: THE DUNN FAMILY

Shorecrest’s Mission is supported by the generosity of community members we call Contributing Chargers. This week we would like to recognize Lower School family, Jen and Greg Dunn. As the Dunn family members start their second year as Chargers, they hope to inspire students to become better classmates and teammates and build a legacy through their support of the school.
