Celebrate Community & Service Learning with 100% community participation!
On Thursday, April 15, we will be celebrating our Shorecrest Community and Service Learning with our last Giving Day. Throughout the week, we will be recognizing those who enrich the Shorecrest experience for our students and community members by effecting change in their communities — locally and globally.
Show your love and support by making a gift:
- reflective of your student’s class year (i.e., 2021, $20.21)
- in honor of someone that has positively impacted your Shorecrest experience. (i.e. a teacher who has made a challenging year easier)
A gift of any size will help us reach our goal of 100% current family participation.
Become an Advocate
- Go to the "Advocates" tab on this page.
- Create an account either by linking to your Facebook account or your email. You may have a sign-on from last year.
- Now that you’ve logged in to GiveCampus, go to the Giving Day Page. GiveCampus provides buttons that allow you to conveniently share the campaign link in a tweet, text, or email.
- Your GiveCampus account will show how many clicked on your campaign from your posts, as well as identify the number of donors and dollars generated from your messages.
- Once you have created an Advocate account, we encourage you to create a plea video. This video is something you can share with others to encourage giving but it also appears on the campaign page.
Create a Matching Gift or Gift Challenge
Advocates can further motivate donors through matching gifts or gift challenges. To create one, go to the Giving Day campaign page and click on the ‘offer a matching gift’ or ‘offer a challenge’ button on the left side of the screen below the campaign video.

One of Shorecrest's greatest assets is our community, specifically our behind-the-scenes volunteers. We asked long-time community member and this year’s SCA co-Secretary, Natalie Peck Spada ’96, to share what it means to be a part of the Shorecrest Community.
