From November 23rd – December 8th , Shippensburg Field Hockey wants to engage with 75 or more donors to fundraise for the future of the program. We are coming off one of the most successful seasons in program history, achieving a 20-0 record while winning the PSAC regular season, PSAC Championship and the National Championship. Our successes are fueled by our fundraising efforts. To continue the tradition of excellence we need your support in securing financial resources for the future generations of SUFH student-athletes. This campaign will be in conjunction with SU’s Giving Day on November 30th.

Our fundraising efforts assist us in creating an exceptional student-athlete experience by providing scholarship opportunities, team bonding and team leadership activities, and auxiliary practice and game day needs. Our team bonding activities include special team meals, pumpkin carving during the fall, post-season activities (this year we went to the Turkey Hill Experience and visited an alpaca farm) and bowling on team nights. Our everyday practice and game day needs look like this: $25 covers one shooting shirt for an athlete, $50 buys us a dozen game balls and we must provide six new game balls for every home event, $70 provides a new mask and extra protection on corner defense, and $365 gets a goalie new kickers. Big or small, every donation makes a direct impact on the student-athletes and this program.

SU Field Hockey thrives on the support of our alumni, family, and friends. We value your contributions on all platforms, cheering from the sidelines on game-day to likes and shares on Instagram, and any previous donations made from tailgate food to the JGMGT. We look forward to having 75+ of our alumni, family and friends participate during these two weeks to further this program and our student-athletes needs, and get us one step closer to that seventh championship ring.
