We're making incredible progress on our Shepherd Day of Giving! So far, we've raised $161,860 (80% of our $200,000 goal) with 301 donors and 2 days remaining in our campaign which ends on March 21 at 10:59PM CDT.
Student Competition Update
The $1,000 Student Challenge competition is heating up! Alternative Spring Break is currently leading with $3,005, followed closely by the Accounting Club with $2,085. Program Board ($850), Delta Sigma Pi ($700), and English Honor Society - Sigma Tau Delta ($535) round out the top five. Remember, whichever student group raises the most by 4:00 PM today will receive an additional $1,000!
In our $1,000 Ram Power Challenge, Accounting Club is leading with 30 donors, with Alternative Spring Break in second place with 19 donors. This challenge rewards the student group with the most individual donors with an additional $1,000!
Challenges Still Active
- McMurran Scholars Association: The advisory committee will donate $200 if they reach 10 donors. They're at 90% of their goal with 1 more donor needed!
- Alumni Association Happy Hour Challenge: The Alumni Association will give $250 to the Shepherd Fund if 25 alumni donate between 4-6 p.m. (0% complete, all 25 donors still needed)
Challenges Completed
We're proud to announce that several challenges have already been met:
- The Soccer Complex Upgrade Initiative successfully raised $1,000, unlocking an additional $1,000!
- The SUAC Operating Fund met its $1,000 goal, with the SUAC Board matching that amount.
- The Robert C. Byrd Center for Congressional History and Education raised $500, unlocking $500 from President Mary Hendrix.
- The Accounting Club met its goal of 25 donors, unlocking $100 from Dr. Cindy Vance!
- President Mary Hendrix's challenges have ALL been met, unlocking additional funds!
- Dean Ben Martz's 100 donors challenge was met, unlocking an additional $1,000!
