In the midst of our COVID-19 crisis, Shenandoah University’s fifth annual Day of Giving is taking on a different focus and asking for donors to consider the four areas that are the greatest need at this time. We need your assistance now more than ever.
Shenandoah University is dedicated to its faculty and staff, and we recognize that during these uncertain times, many of our community members are facing a multitude of challenges that are related to the coronavirus, including hardship in regards to their living expenses, medical costs and travel.
The Taun Loving Care (TLC) Fund is a longstanding fund, established in loving memory of former SU staff member Ericka Taun Dimmick, who faithfully reached out to her fellow faculty and staff members to help with their needs. This fund was designed to assist Shenandoah University faculty and staff who may be facing a wide range of personal and family hardships. For many years, the TLC Fund has provided SU faculty and staff needed aid during difficult times. You can provide immediate assistance to our faculty and staff during this uncertain time with a gift to the TLC Fund. Your support will help with unforeseen medical and living expenses, as well as other unexpected financial difficulties of our faculty and staff.
