Global Medical Brigades works to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Students involved in the Global Medical Brigades provide access to health services in rural communities alongside doctors, staff and local leaders.
In the year 2024, we hope to have a brigade to a third-world country where our services could be beneficial. In order to have a successful brigade, we provide advocacy for hygiene, drug and alcohol awareness, and mental health in addition to provide the local population with supplies necessary to better their health. Such supplies includes everyday items that may be unobtainable to the local population such as sunglasses, shampoo/soap, and even toothbrushes.
We request the donations of the Seton Hall Community to help fund medical supplies to give to the local population and also to possibly sponsor and fund the brigade of our student volunteers. Any amount of donation can help!
