American Chemical Society Student Chapter

The mission of the American Chemical Society chapter at Seton Hall is to provide an opportunity for SHU students interested in or pursuing a chemical science-related field to become better acquainted with the discipline.

We are fundraising to help us increase the Seton Hall presence at regional ACS conferences, Chemistry Expositions, and outreach events. We have received tremendous positive feedback from professors for our efforts to encourage research opportunities for SHU students. We aim to continue these efforts and more including Professional Development events. We also look forward to hosting FUN events such as the popular DIY Lava Lamps. To offer these events, we need funds to purchase preparation materials, print large-scale advertisements, provide refreshments for our guests and members, and purchase prizes for our committed members of ACS.
