Welcome to Scripps College Day of Giving 2022

What is Day of Giving?

Day of Giving is Scripps' 24-hour digital fundraiser starting April 13 to show your Scripps pride and give the next generation of Scripps leaders the resources they need to succeed. Whether $5 or $5,000, every gift matters. We invite you to give at any level that’s meaningful for you!

Your Gifts Impact Every Scripps Student

This year we’re highlighting four funds for student support: The Scripps Fund, scholarships, racial justice and equity, and mental health and wellness.

  • The Scripps Fund forms the backbone of student resources like internship grants, campus enhancements, and academic programs. For those looking to make the greatest impact, a gift to The Scripps Fund supports every student on campus.

  • Scholarships. More than half of Scripps students rely on scholarships. A gift to this area opens the Scripps experience to deserving students no matter their financial circumstances and advances our goal of building an increasingly diverse, vibrant student body.

  • Racial Justice and Equity. Your gifts here increase enrollment and retention of underrepresented students; helps Scripps implement antiracist curricula, hiring practices, and community discussion; and funds new research examining systemic racism and inequality.

  • Mental Health and Wellness. At Scripps, we measure our students' success by their ability to thrive: mind, body, spirit—not just academically. A gift to mental health and wellness helps fund free 24-hour telehealth resources, Scripps' off-campus therapist program, and programming designed to meet our students' evolving mental health needs.
