Day of Giving - Department of Art

At Scripps, creativity takes shape in the Sculpture Studio wood shop, where students transform raw materials into bold works of art. Each year, more than 480 students across The Claremont Colleges use these spaces to experiment, build, and bring ideas to life.

This Day of Giving, we’re raising funds for a panel saw—an essential tool that will allow students to safely and accurately cut large sheets of wood, acrylic, and other materials. With the right equipment, students can work more efficiently, reduce waste, and create projects on a bigger scale.
