When Ellen Browning Scripps founded Scripps College in 1926, she wanted more for women, more for humanity, and more for the world. 90 years later, Scripps educates students to develop their intellects and talents through active participation in a community of scholars, while encouraging graduates to contribute to society through lives of leadership, service, integrity, and creativity.
