Gifts to Painting & Drawing contribute to...
Students studying in SAIC’s renowned Painting & Drawing department have the opportunity to work with practicing artists while accessing the incredible artworks of the Art Institute. The department also believes that a robust roster of visiting artists serves our educational mission. This Giving Day, your support will enable expansion of the department’s visiting artist program, allowing students to meet and learn from leading practitioners from around the world.
Additionally, gifts to SAIC’s Painting & Drawing Department Fund support:
- Professional practice retreats to prepare students for their career after graduation
- Classroom visits from collectors, curators, and artists
- Instructional supplies like easels and Materials & Techniques StudioLab tools
