Gifts to Ceramics contribute to...
The cost of raw materials and studio space can be a significant financial barrier to ceramics artists early on in their careers—which is why SAIC’s Ceramics department prioritizes providing students with access to materials at no cost, so they can give their undivided attention to improving their creative practice. This Giving Day, your support will offset the cost of these materials and help the Ceramics department provide students with the tools they need to create a substantial body of work during their time here, laying a foundation for artistic and professional growth.
Additionally, gifts to the SAIC Ceramics Department Fund support:
- Equipping students with the resources and materials needed for the classroom
- Expanding the department’s visiting artist program to include a wider range of artists across the country
- Professional development opportunities for students to engage in the field of ceramics
SAIC’s Ceramics department is one of only a few programs in the country that focuses on experimental, contemporary ceramics, training students to draw on a wealth of traditional and innovative processes and technologies to create bold new work.
