Gifts to SITE Galleries: Student-Led Exhibitions contribute to...
The student-led SITE Galleries (formerly known as Student Union Galleries) within SAIC’s Department of Exhibitions and Exhibition Studies provides opportunities for students of all disciplines to develop their professional practices through firsthand experience. They curate and stage solo exhibitions, group exhibitions, curatorial projects and program events.The 2024–25 academic year marks the 30th anniversary of SITE Galleries! This Giving Day, your support will empower us to bolster professional development programming for our student artists, curators, and administrators.
Additionally, gifts to the SAIC SITE Galleries Fund support:
- Special events and projects such as panels, career fairs, and workshops
- Visiting experts and professionals who will help students develop their professional networks and experience
- Maintaining and improving our two exhibition spaces and installation materials
Since its inception, SITE’s various gallery spaces have hosted more than 300 exhibitions featuring the work of more than 600 SAIC student artists, curators, and administrators.
