FirstPres Community Outreach Shelter

During our clinical rotation at FirstPres Community Outreach Shelter, we help take vital signs and blood sugars, assist with finding a primary care physician, and answer any questions that individuals bring to our attention.

As we work with clients at the homeless shelter, we build trusting, empathetic relationships to guide and support them as they navigate this complex field.

For Giving Tuesday, we are fundraising to help provide everyday necessities and items that individuals in our community ask for to meet their daily needs.

Help us by providing funds to purchase puzzles, board games, coloring books, and markers to help these individuals through a stressful time and distract them from everyday stressors.

We would also love to help individuals within our community purchase everyday necessities such as towels, string backpacks, underwear, socks, toothbrushes, and soap to relieve some stress and support their hygiene needs.
