Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2027

The Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2027 at Samuel Merritt University’s Oakland Campus is entering the final year of our journey toward becoming physical therapists!

Our cohort is made up of 50 compassionate, hardworking, and occasionally goofy students who share a passion for movement as medicine and a commitment to serving our communities.

Over the past two years, we have challenged ourselves through countless hours of studying, clinical experiences, and personal growth, becoming not only future physical therapists but also friends, classmates, and colleagues.

Graduation marks the culmination of this journey and the beginning of our shared purpose: helping people move, regain independence, and improve their quality of life.

To celebrate this milestone and commemorate everything we have accomplished together, we are raising funds to purchase dedicated class jackets ($140 each) that will serve as a lasting reminder of our three-year journey.

We are asking our community to be part of this special chapter by helping us celebrate the hard work, friendships, and memories we have built along the way. Every contribution, big or small, will help bring our cohort together to celebrate how far we have come and the exciting future ahead.
