Support the future of podiatric sports medicine at Samuel Merritt University!

The American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM) student organization at Samuel Merritt University College of Podiatric Medicine (SMUCPM) seeks to raise funds to expand educational, research and professional development opportunities for students interested in podiatric sports medicine.

The funds raised will help support hands-on workshops, guest speakers, educational events, and other experiences that allow students to gain a deeper understanding of podiatry beyond the classroom. Funding will also help support student involvement in sports medicine research, including resources needed to conduct and present scholarly research. A portion of the funds may be used to offset travel expenses for students attending conferences, research presentations and other educational development opportunities.

At Samuel Merritt University, AAPSM aims to connect students with podiatric physicians, faculty, and leaders in podiatric sports medicine.

By reducing financial barriers to educational, research, and opportunities that require travel opportunities AAPSM-SMUCPM can make these experiences more accessible to SMUCPM students.

Ultimately, our goal is to enhance student education, advance podiatric research, expand learning opportunities and prepare future podiatric physicians to provide high-quality care for athletes and active individuals.
