Since it was founded in 1904, the Providence College of Nursing (PCN) has shaped extraordinary nurses whose skill, compassion, and leadership have strengthened health care in Oakland and beyond.

Today, Samuel Merritt University (SMU) is continuing to build on that legacy in inspiring ways.

SMU’s beautiful new Oakland City Center Campus is now open and bustling with students, faculty, and innovative learning spaces.

As Providence alumnae, we have a meaningful opportunity to help shape this next chapter of health care education. We invite you to join fellow Providence graduates in supporting—and naming—a dedicated space in this new campus that will honor the Providence College of Nursing.
