The Samford Parent Scholarship Fund started as a grassroots effort to support students who are close to earning a degree but facing withdrawal from Samford prematurely due to a family financial crisis.
As part of the campaign, we would like to see this movement turn into a Samford tradition. Building on the fun competition existing between states during tailgating at Family Weekend, we would like to see each state/region compete with others to attain a goal of 100 percent parent participation in contributions to the Samford Parent Scholarship Fund.
We have until midnight on December 31, 2017 to meet our challenge! Thank you for investing in our Samford family!
#GivingTuesday, is a perfect day to show our gratitude by supporting the Parent Scholarship Fund. We are 67% of the way to our goal with only 34 days remaining. You can give, share, and encourage other parents to participate. It is always more fun when we work together!
Our goal is to have 100 percent of the parents contacted to donate—it’s about participation, not dollar amount. Please consider giving today!
