Joseph Boxler, a member of the class of 2009, passed away on October 2, 2007, during his junior year at Salesianum.
A decade later, we continue to remember Joe not only for his integrity and kindness, but also for his immense heart, infectious sense of humor, and love for his family and friends.
Joe lived his life by his favorite beatitude: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Achieving purity of heart takes courage, honesty and commitment. Joe's scholarship - The Joseph Boxler Award for Personal Integrity and Kindness to Others - rewards these very qualities in a Salesianum senior.
Help us perpetuate this award with your gift of $10 or more to his Scholarship. After a decade, Joe's spirit still burns brightly at Salesianum. Help us shine his light even brighter in the years to come.
"When Joe died a piece of everyone close to him died because he touched us so deeply."
-Matt Dunlevy, Classmate and Friend
