Saint Marys’ Women’s Rugby Team is in the Division 2 West Coast Rugby Conference and is a competitive club sport. We are a growing group that was able to make a name for ourselves over the last six years. Last year, we went undefeated in our season and placed 2nd place overall in our division. We also had opportunities to showcase our 7s program, that is made up of our 15s players. We participated in Monterey 7s in the Spring of 2018 and placed 1st overall. Last year we participated in the Las Vegas 7s Invitational and finished in 3rd place in the open college division. And in the Stampede 7’s Tournament in Colorado and finished in 2nd place overall.
Rugby is a sport of respect and family that we women take great pride in. We hope to achieve high standards that we set for ourselves this year but for that, we must continue to get our team's name out there.
To do this we travel to invitationals and tournaments during the season. In order to do so it requires our club to have money for travel expenses: competition fees, hotels, buses, flights, and food. Your contribution to our club ensures that we will have the funds to continue to make a name for ourselves and grow our program bigger and stronger.
