Moonlight Scholars

Each year, eight High Potential students - four first-year students and four rising Seniors - are selected to receive Moonlight Scholarships, courtesy of private donors, HP alumni, and two-time Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali ‘96. Moonlight Scholars receive $2,500 (first-years) or $5,000 (rising seniors) in tuition support. Learn more about our current Moonlight Scholars

“The Moonlight Scholarship exists to demonstrate to students in the High Potential Program that their experiences have value, their perspectives are important and relevant, and their success is a priority,” said past Vice President for Advancement Lisa Moore ’96. “Our vision is to grow the Moonlight Scholarship significantly in the years to come, and we look forward to inspiring as many donors as possible to support students in the High Potential Program.

Funds will support scholarships for first-year and Senior Moonlight Scholars, and will continue to build towards our goal of a $1 million endowment.
