Gifts to Integral contribute to...
The Integral Alumni Scholarship Annual Fund is now in its fourth year. It was established to help Integral students close the gap between the actual cost of attendance at St. Mary’s College (about $70,000 a year) and the students’ total financial aid package. The scholarship assistance allows them to stay in school, concentrate on their studies and reduce inordinate long term debt.
But true to the Integral spirit there is something more, and one Integral Alumni Scholarship recipient expressed it well.
The natural light of curiosity is a great gift from God, and the tradition of liberal arts education which has engendered that natural capacity’s realization is a treasure of inestimable value. This is why, Alumni, I am greatly in your debt. Were it not for your own participation in the program, and your continued support of it after your graduation, there may not have been an Integral Program for me to enroll in when I came to college. I am already indebted to you for the very program, and yet you give me even more still with this scholarship. This scholarship to me is a great honor, and I am humbled that you have chosen to give it to me. Thank you for everything Integral, and be assured that whatever I end up doing after the program, like all of you, I will continue to support it.
