The Science Student Research Awards Fund provides opportunities for talented undergraduate students to partner with a faculty mentor to conduct research that leads to innovation and discovery, and supports the pursuit of academic excellence. Through the 10-week Summer Research Program, students and faculty join together to focus on, explore, and analyze important problems facing our society.

The Dean’s Fund for Excellence provides critical on-demand funding each year for a variety of needs in the School of Science that are essential for student and faculty outcomes. The fund is used at the Dean’s discretion and has been instrumental in helping students who find themselves unable to meet the costs associated with their studies, including books and lab fees, and providing students the opportunity to present their research at professional conferences. These vital funds provide faculty development so that professors may fully explore their research and teaching endeavors.
