The Saint Mary’s Club Athletics Department provides students with a unique opportunity to build, develop, and enhance their leadership, organizational, and management skills in a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment. Participants in Club Sports at Saint Mary’s College involve themselves in competition, community, and building connections that enhance the Club Sports student-athlete experience at Saint Mary's College through the Department of Club Athletics and the Saint Mary’s College community.
Support your favorite Club Sports this One Day One SMC!
We empower our students to engage one another by learning, practicing, building lifelong friendships, and competing on and off campus, in over 15 different competitive and recreational sports!
Whether you are a student who enjoys the excitement of learning something new, or you are a top-tier athlete who strives to remain competitive while at Saint Mary's College, let the Club Sports program connect you with smaller communities who share those same skills and interests. Donate Today!
With your donation to the department or any respective team, our student-athletes will have the ability to pay for regular and post season travel expenses, purchase equipment and apparel, secure off campus facilities, officials fees, student-athlete financial assistance, and much more. All operational costs are covered by the student-athletes, so your donation today will offset those costs and the financial burden our students cover annually.

After another great win against the storied rugby program of UC Berkeley in the CRAA D1A quarterfinals, it all comes down to this! In what has already been a historic season, the Gaels will compete for the last time this season in the West Region and take on the #3 seeded Cougars of BYU.
The #1 ranked Gaels traveled to Provo, Utah back in March for a non-conference competition, beating the Cougars by a score of 38-21. However, the Cougars have had impressive wins this season against some of the top teams in the nation, including Cal, UCLA, and, most recently, the upset of the #2 ranked Wildcats of Central Washington University in the quarterfinals of the CRAA D1A 2024 playoffs.
The winner of this weekend's match earns the honor of competing in the College Rugby Association of America D1A National Championship match on May 4 in Houston, Texas.
An anonymous donor has just agreed to match your donation to Men's Rugby dollar for dollar up to $25,000 dollars! Make your gift now before our campaign closes at 7pm PDT tonight!
Go Gaels!!
