Our annual auction has always been a beautiful way to build community and sustain the ministry of Sacred Heart Parish & Academy. This year, however, required a bit of innovation. The entrepreneurial spirit of our community did not disappoint! We are proud present to you the fruit of much creativity, talent, and generosity: Our first-ever Web-a-thon, hosted by Father Sirico. Reminiscent of the Jerry Lewis telethon, this will be an evening of zany comic relief, dazzling performances, amazing giveaways, special prayers, and grand celebrations, all in support of Sacred Heart Parish & Academy!
The live broadcast begins Saturday, September 26th at 6pm and kicks off this campaign! We will have three days to reach 400 donors! Will you be one of the 400?
Here’s the link to the live broadcast. If you cannot watch it live, don’t worry! We’ll post highlights on our update feed. There are some things you just can’t miss.
Your gift (of any size!) supports a Catholic community dedicated to the True, the Good and the Beautiful.
Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish is a 115 year old, thriving Catholic community that promotes faith, brings hope, and fosters charity.
The largest apostolate of Sacred Heart Parish is Sacred Heart Academy, a nationally recognized, Catholic classical academy dedicated to assisting families, forming Catholics, and cultivating culture.
Now, we have an opportunity. We’ve received a matching gift of $50,000! We have a goal of 400 donors and the first 300 gifts will be matched with $200 each! Please support Sacred Heart Parish & Academy!
Join our community as we:
- Strive to follow Jesus in thought, word, and deed
- Educate full time and homeschool partnership students in Pre-K through 12th grade who attend daily Mass, weekly Adoration, monthly confession, and receive an authentically Catholic education while studying a classical curriculum
- Form Parishioners and students alike. In the last three years over 50 men and women of all ages have entered the Catholic Church at Sacred Heart

The Web-a-thon last evening was a great success and has just kicked off of our three-day campaign!
We thank you for being a part of this effort to support the mission of Sacred Heart Parish & Academy thus far and we ask you to continue sharing our giving page to help us reach 400 donors - we have two more days to reach this goal!
Here is a recap of the night, and following, information on how YOU can help us reach our goal.
Here's a recap of our riveting night:
- In the last 24 hours we have raised over $100,000 for our Parish and Academy!
- Father Sirico and Judge Joe Scoville kept us entertained throughout the night with cameo appearances from Theo the dog!
- We enjoyed videos throughout the program including performances from our talented parishioners and students, interviews with Steve Ray and Al Kresta, blessings from Francis Cardinal Arinze and Raymond Cardinal Burke, and more!
-Here is one highlight...more to come!
- The following challenges were proposed and met:
- Class of 2021 and Fr. Sirico - $500 if Fr. Ron would do a pirouette on live TV.
- Class of 2021 - $250 if Brian Gumbko would dance a jig on live TV.
- Zach Wendt - $1000 each if Zach Good and Tim Walsh would sing "I'm a Little Teapot" and do the motions live.
- Zach Good - $150 if Tim Walsh revealed the instrument he played in high school band via a video or photo (from the early '90s or today) posted to Thea Walsh's Facebook page.
- Lennon Family - $250 if Connor Dugan would sing the Notre Dame fight song. Preferably in a 1970s track suit.
- Class of 2021 - $500 if Mr. Maltbie declared a seniors-only jeans and SHA t-shirt day.
- Tom Ayers - $500 if Gannon Hyland would shave half his beard and hair.
The goal: Reach 400 Donors. We currently stand at 141 Donors. Here's how you can help us reach 400:
- Share heartfelt requests with this link to our video via social media, email, phone calls, texts and personal pleas. (When you do this, people support our mission!)
There are lots of incentives and matches still on the table!
- Every gift to 300 gifts is matched with $200 each!
- By donating, you could receive bumper stickers, academy swag, entries to win wine club memberships, a chef's tasting dinner, or trip to Mexico!
- Every 50th donor will receive a bottle of wine AND a $50 gift card to a local restaurant! (We are quickly approaching 150!)
Thank you! We are humbled by your generous response to our plea for your support!
