Areas of Greatest Need

If you're looking to make a gift with an immediate impact, we have two funds for your consideration:

• The Bicentennial Fund for Student Access and Persistence opens the door to opportunities at Fredonia for many students. This fund provides direct scholarship support to incoming students with financial need, many of them first-generation college students. The fund also supports current students who have barriers to continuing their studies at Fredonia. Your gift to the Bicentennial Fund enables talented students to attend Fredonia and achieve their educational goals at our university, honoring Fredonia's tradition of success while preparing for the ever-changing future.

• The Student Emergency Fund provides one-time assistance to students with financial need due to unforeseen circumstances. This fund was critical in helping our students transition to remote learning during the pandemic, and still provides much needed assistance to students who've had a medical or family emergency that's caused undue financial burden, or encountered an unexpected hardship in meeting their basic needs whether that's addressing food insecurity, covering lab or book fees, or travel expenses to get to an internship or home from campus. Your gift to the Student Emergency Fund could be the difference between a student being able to remain at Fredonia to continue their education and complete their degree.
