Sound Recording Technology Equipment Replacement

Fredonia’s 45-year-old Sound Recording Technology (SRT) degree program—one of the longest running of its kind in the nation—provides undergraduate students with academic and professional preparation necessary for successful careers in music, sound recording, and related professions, and in technical, artistic, and management positions. Many of our graduates are industry leaders and GRAMMY Award nominees and winners—a testament to Fredonia’s exceptional academic offerings.

Our last major SRT equipment update/upgrade occurred in 2007. In an effort to provide our students with access to the most up-to-date equipment they would expect to find in the constantly-changing sound recording profession, we are raising funds to support replacing antiquated equipment in three campus studios utilized in training, preparing and educating future industry professionals.
