Support the State Shooting Sports Club

For Go Big, Give Blue, funds raised will support the State Shooting Sports Club as we continue rebuilding and growing our team. As of December 2025, we were officially reinstated as a working team after being unable to meet club requirements the previous two years. Since then, our members have worked hard to reestablish the program and prepare for a successful return to competition.

This semester, we plan to host a trap competition in Brookings and travel to additional competitions in locations such as Humboldt, SD or Marshall, MN. Funds raised will help cover team apparel including vests, jerseys or T-shirts, and hats, as well as clay fees, entry fees, ammunition costs, travel expenses, and equipment needs. We are also working toward saving for a larger trap shoot competition in the future.

Our team uses specialized equipment such as trap shells, firearms, ammunition, eye and ear protection, and a trap thrower. Support helps ensure that members have safe access to the resources needed to compete and represent SDSU.

What makes our club unique is our determination and shared commitment to rebuilding the team. We are hardworking, ambitious, motivated, and united by common goals. We are excited to return to competition and continue growing as a team.
